Jammu June 14th: In continuation to the drive against menace of drug, one more medical pharmacy closed in Trikuta Complex, Bus Stand, Jammu.
A team of District Special Branch Jammu and P/S Bus Stand apprehended one Deepak Kumar S/O Vijay Kumar R/O Bahu fort, Jammu. On search, the said person was found in possession of Alprax tablets (a banned narcotic drug) which he was carrying without any prescription of a qualified medical practitioner. On enquiring , it came to light that the medicines had been purchased it from “Sanjay Medicos, Trikuta Complex, Bus Stand, Jammu”.
The matter was taken up with the Deputy Controller, Drug and Food Control Organization, Muthi, Jammu. Based on the recommendations of SHO P/S Bus Stand, the Deputy Controller, Drug and Food Control Organization, Jammu issued the closing order of above said Medical shop until further orders. The order issued by the Deputy Controller was executed by the SHO P/S Bus Stand Inspr. Rajesh Jasrotia on June 13, 2019.
